Kurnia Won the Brand Leadership Award!
Kurnia won the Bronze in the Brand Leadership Award (BLA) under the Life and
General Insurance Category by the Malaysia Brand Equity Award 2008 on June
30, 2008. The Gold and Silver awards went to Great Eastern Life Insurance and
Prudential Assurance.
We are indeed proud to be the only local established insurance brand to be
awarded under this category. This award has given us an edge over our competitors
in terms of media exposure and the experience of winning this has certainly
encouraged us to aim for a better award in the year to come. This recognition
added up to the "MMVB" award that we won last year, which we are now rated
as the Malaysia Most Valuable Brand in the insurance industry.
The award presentation ceremony was witnessed by a crowd of deserving brands
amongst multinational, public-listed and government-linked companies that have
shown best practices in branding and met the requirements of the brand excellence
practices.
The selection criteria were based on highest media exposure via press release
in the mass media with an analysis of the highest ROI. Twenty one brands/organizations
across the seven industries were awarded. Brand Leadership Bronze Award (BLA)
recognizes entrepreneurial achievement and accolades those which deliver the
best results based upon data provided by Media Banc.
