Kurnia Malaysia
KAA Riders in Penang now
Kurnia Insurans launched the enhanced Kurnia Auto Assist (KAA) service with
the deployment of KAA Riders on motorcycles on 4 June 2010 at the Penang Branch.
The event was well attended by our supportive agents, business partners and
members of the media.
Prior to this, the enhanced service with KAA Riders was available only in
the Klang Valley. In 2008, the KAA Riders service was launched in the Klang
Valley by our Chairman, Tan Sri Dato’ Paduka Kua Sian Kooi, as part of
the value-added services provided for Kurnia’s private car motor comprehensive
insurance policyholders.
The event began with an opening speech by our Executive Adviser, Dato’ Quah
Teong Moo. In his speech, he commented, “Our purpose of bringing the
KAA Riders to Penang, as you already understand, is to provide free roadside
assistance to our policyholders and from a business objective, we believe it
is also a powerful marketing tool in helping our agents to sustain their renewal
rates and to further expand their business. Similar to the KAA Riders in the
Klang Valley, our KAA Riders in Penang are qualified technicians or mechanics
on motorbikes that will be stationed at several hot spots in Penang and they
aim to be at the scene of a breakdown or accident within 30 minutes.”
The launching ceremony saw Dato’ Quah flagging off two KAA Riders who
rode on their KAA bikes. The guests were then invited to watch the KAA Riders
infomercial video presentation before they proceeded for refreshments.
