Visitation by Vietnam AAA Assurance Corporation Delegates to Menara Kurnia

13 delegates from Vietnam AAA Assurance Corporation made a 3-day visit to Menara Kurnia from 9 to 11 September 2009 with an aim to learn and adopt Kurnia Insurans’ best practices and implement them at AAA, especially in the areas of underwriting, claims, customer service, sales, finance and administration.

Upon their arrival at Menara Kurnia on the first day, the delegates were ushered up to the 24th floor and were welcomed by Dato' Adrian Loh, Captain Chia, Dato' Quah Teong Moo and the management team.

During the 3-day visitation, the delegates were taken on a tour to several departments, including the Operations Room, Sales and Claims Counters, IT, Motor and Non-Motor Departments. The respective department heads/managers were present to receive the guests and gave an in-depth informational talk on the department’s operations. They also addressed questions raised by the delegates.

After the tour to the various departments, the Vietnamese guests were led to the dining room at 24th floor for lunch. Throughout the 3-day visit, they were also involved in workshops organised by our core departments, namely Motor, Non-Motor, Finance, Distribution and IT.

On Day 3, they paid a visit to one of our panel workshops, Top Speed Automobile Sdn Bhd, as the delegates wanted to gain a better understanding on workshop operations. They also had a chance to view a live demo on the Kurnia Express service and procedures. At the end of the visitation, the delegates returned to Menara Kurnia for a closing session by our Senior Management Committee. The Deputy General Director of AAA, Mr Ng Quang Vinh, sang a farewell song and gave out their company’s souvenirs as a token of appreciation. Captain Chia thanked the team for their short visit, saying that he looks forward to the start of a new friendship.
