Kurnia sponsored Hole-in-One at Cleveland-Srixon CSSB Golf Championship
Congratulations to Mr. Peh Hun Hoe, the lucky hole-in-one winner of the Cleveland-Srixon
CSSB Open golf championship!
Following the mock key presentation ceremony held at Menara Kurnia on 20 August
2009, Mr. Peh drove away the Volkswagen New Beetle worth RM159,000 sponsored
by Kurnia Insurans. The car was presented by Mr. David Tan, General Manager
of Strategic Business Unit, at Kurnia Insurans.
Mr. Peh, who recently participated in the golf championship at the Kulim Golf
and Country Resort in Kedah, could not believe his luck as he was informed
that the pin position was a difficult one and a hole-in-one was almost impossible.
He was surprised when the ball, at the 15th hole, rolled right into the cup.
It was his first ace since taking up golf 8 years ago.
There were a total of 127 golfers who took part in the championship. En. Adnan
Mad Amin, a 22 handicapper, was the overall winner with 46 points.
