Give Blood and Save Lives
Kurnia staff and members of the public participated in the blood donation campaign 2005 to help the National Blood Bank replenish blood supplies. Organised by Kurnia Insurans Recreation Club (KIRC), the campaign was held on Friday, August 19th, 2005 at the foyer of Menara Kurnia. A total of 113 people participated, of which 108 were Kurnia staff and another 5 from the public. Out of these, 88 Kurnia staff and 4 members of the public were successful donors with a total of 92 packets of blood collected during the campaign.
A team of 8 medical personnel from the National Blood Bank led by Dr Norazlina were present at the campaign. This year, successful donors will be given a certificate of appreciation by the Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia & Pusat Darah Negara Malaysia. Donors were served with a variety of food and drinks after the blood donation campaign.
